Dr. Andrew Cheng received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Toronto in philosophy with distinction in 1985, and a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Alberta in 1987. He completed his Dental program from the University of Alberta in 1989 and has practiced general and cosmetic dentistry in the Lower Mainland ever since.

He has been involved in numerous study clubs and has a particular interest in laser and computerized dentistry with the Cerec method for fabricating single visit ceramic crowns. Notably, he was amongst the first group of dentists to travel to Germany to learn the Cerec method in 1995. More recently, Dr. Cheng has received certification with the Invisalign orthodontic method and special training with the Sirona Galileos 3d tomographic machine for advanced radiographic diagnosis for implants and oral surgery.

He maintains practices in the Highlands community in Squamish, West Broadway in Vancouver, and in Cloverdale Surrey. Apart from his busy work schedule, Dr. Cheng finds time to volunteer at the East Side Dental Clinic and his passion is to travel and to promote dental care in remote areas.
