Dentist, Practice Limited to Implant Surgery and Dentoalveolar Surgery

Dr. Yang received his dental degree from University of Toronto. After graduation, he decided to pursue further training in New York, where he received his certificate of General Practice Residency at New York Presbyterian Hospital, the university hospital of Cornell Medical College.

Dr. Yang went on to complete a four-year hospital residency in oral surgery at New York Presbyterian Hospital, where he received advanced training in wisdom teeth extractions, dental implant surgery and bone augmentation. During residency Dr. Yang scored in the 99th percentile of the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery In-Service Training Exam administered by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, and was honoured with multiple awards including:

• Distinguished Housestaff Award
• C.A.R.E. Award
• Shining Star Award
• Nomination: Physician of the Year Award

Upon completion of his training, Dr. Yang relocated to Vancouver where he limits his practice to implant surgery, and dentoalveolar surgery including wisdom teeth extraction and bone augmentation.

In his spare time he enjoys snowboarding, rollerblading and spending time with his family.
