There are times when patient's do request general anesthetic or IV sedation services.  This can be beneficial to people who are phobic or have anxiety issues when it comes to getting their dental treatment done.  It is also recommended for surgical extractions of wisdom teeth.  Children with multiple cavities may also have their dental treatment done under a general anesthetic.
